Treatments

Four specialties, planned like a medical file — not a holiday

Orthopaedics, cosmetic surgery, dental and fertility care at accredited private hospitals in India. Sevanta coordinates the journey. The hospital’s own clinical team provides the care.

  • 4

Phase-one specialties, each with a named consultant

  • 16

Procedures set out in full, with the caveats printed beside them

  • 12 mths

Follow-up plan arranged before you fly home

  • 1

UK coordinator, for the whole journey

Why Sevanta

Six things we commit to before you book anything

None of these is a claim about outcomes. They are commitments about process — the part we actually control.

  • 01

    Accredited hospitals only

Every partner hospital holds current NABH or JCI accreditation. We publish the certificate number, and we re-check that it is still valid at least once a year.

  • 02

    You meet the surgeon first

A video consultation with the named consultant who would operate, before you commit to anything beyond a coordination fee.

  • 03

    One itemised price

Surgery, implant, hospital stay, drugs and transfers on one document — alongside what is deliberately excluded from it.

  • 04

    A UK point of contact

One coordinator, in UK hours, from the first call through to the twelve-month follow-up. Not a rota, not a ticket queue.

  • 05

    Aftercare arranged at home

UK physiotherapy and GP correspondence organised before you fly out, so recovery is not something you sort out on landing.

  • 06

    Plainly stated limits

The CQC does not regulate care in India and the GMC has no jurisdiction over India-based surgeons. We put that in writing rather than leave it to inference.

Specialty 01

Orthopaedics — hips, knees, shoulders and ligaments

4 procedures

The largest of the four, and the one where UK waiting lists bite hardest. Operations are carried out by consultant orthopaedic surgeons at accredited private hospitals, with daily inpatient physiotherapy before you are cleared to fly.

  • Hip replacement

Total hip arthroplasty, cemented or uncemented, with the implant brand named in your quotation before you travel.

Specialty 02

Cosmetic surgery — with a cooling-off period built in

4 procedures

Every cosmetic enquiry carries a two-week reflection period between the surgeon consultation and any booking. We run no promotions, no time-limited offers, and we do not quote a price before a surgeon has reviewed your case.

  • Rhinoplasty

Functional or aesthetic, assessed together. Swelling continues to settle for up to a year after surgery.

Full or mini, with a longer inpatient stay than most. Flights are booked after the drain is removed.

Contouring only. It is not a weight-loss procedure, and surgeons here will say so at consultation.

Specialty 03

Dental — implants, veneers and full-mouth work

4 procedures

Usually two visits: preparation and fitting, with a healing interval at home in between. Both trips are planned at the outset, so the second one is not booked under pressure or at short notice.

  • Dental implants

Per implant, including abutment and crown. Bone grafting, if required, is quoted separately and named.

Specialty 04

Fertility and IVF

4 procedures

Cycle timing drives everything, so fertility journeys are planned backwards from the transfer date. UK-side monitoring is arranged before you travel wherever your own clinic or GP will support it.

  • IVF

Per fresh cycle, including monitoring, egg collection and one transfer. Medication is quoted separately.

  • IVF with donor eggs

Donor matching is carried out by the clinic under Indian law, which differs from UK law on anonymity.

Prices

What the same operation costs, side by side

The shape of the comparison, with the figures still to come. A price without a second column for what it does not cover is how people discover abroad that the quote never included the implant — so the second column is here from the start.

Treatment prices in pounds sterling, UK private self-pay compared with Sevanta. No figure is published yet; every cell reads TBU.

Included in these prices

  • Consultant surgeon, anaesthetist and theatre fees
  • Implant or prosthesis as specified in your quotation
  • Inpatient stay, medication and daily physiotherapy where indicated
  • Airport transfers, hospital admission and discharge coordination

Not included

  • Flights, visa fees and travel insurance, which you arrange yourself
  • Accommodation before admission and after discharge
  • Treatment for complications outside the hospital’s own package terms
  • Medication taken home, and UK aftercare beyond the arranged plan

Every figure here reads TBU because none has a source behind it yet, and we would rather show you that than a number we invented. When they are published: the UK column will cite named private-provider self-pay list prices, and the Sevanta column the partner hospital’s own written quotation. Both will be indicative and neither will be a quotation — your own price depends on the treatment plan the surgeon sets after reviewing your records.

Clinicians

Who you will actually meet, and who registers them

Every profile names the body that registers that clinician. A UK reader seeing a bare registration number reasonably infers a UK regulator, and for India-based surgeons that inference is false.

Sample entries. A published patient story requires a consent flag and a link to where the review was actually left — a testimonial we cannot point at is one we do not publish.

  • They told me the risks before they told me the price. That is not what I expected from this industry.

Talk to a coordinator

Talk it through before you decide anything

No obligation, and no medical details needed on a first call. We will tell you what we do not know as readily as what we do.

  1. 1A coordinator reads it the same dayA named person, in the UK, not a ticket queue.
  2. 2We call you within one working dayAt a time you choose — evenings and Saturday mornings included.
  3. 3Nothing is booked, nothing is soldA first conversation ends with an honest answer, including "not for you".

Rather talk than type? Our number is published at launch — Monday to Friday 9am–6pm, Saturday mornings.
