A small UK company, and everything you need to check it

Sevanta Health Ltd coordinates private medical treatment in India for patients in the United Kingdom. We are not a hospital, we employ no surgeons, and we have no connection to the NHS. Start with the company record — it can be checked in thirty seconds, which is more than can be said for a mission statement.

The company number can be checked on the Companies House register. We are registering with the Information Commissioner’s Office before we accept a first enquiry, because that is the point at which we would begin holding personal data.

Why Sevanta exists

  • Why we exist

    NHS waits for planned treatment are measured in seasons, and the UK private price puts the same treatment out of reach for most people on the list. What is missing is not another operator — it is somebody in the UK who sets out the costs, the risks and the aftercare honestly, tells you when the answer is no, and is still reachable when you are home.

  • Why India

    Not because it is inexpensive — because it is checkable. NABH publishes a searchable register of accredited hospitals, its standards are accredited by ISQua, and every doctor is on the public Indian Medical Register. High procedure volumes at large private hospitals are one of the few meaningful, countable facts about a surgical unit. And the cost difference is large enough to matter even after every travel line.

  • How we are paid

    You pay Sevanta a fixed coordination fee — no hospital pays us anything, and your treatment money never passes through us. Our partner organisation in India is paid commission by the hospitals it works with. That is a conflict of interest, we say so, and a whole page explains what we do about it.
